Wow, it's been a while, hasn't it? Golly. Well, I have two new fics from Natalia in the fics section (duh), and if you're impatient, there's a link to it in the update from September 3. In my life, I saw "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" yesterday! It was really really good, but I was sad that they had to leave so much out. The Norbert sequence was severely chopped, and there was nothing about the duel at all. The Chocolate Frogs were really cute, and the thing with the flying keys was really cool, even though they changed it a bit. I'm not gonna spoil that for the people who haven't seen it yet, though. I'm by far more excited about teh upcoming Lord of the Rings movies. Literally counting the days until December 19 (right now? 25 days). I'm trying to coerce my mother into taking me that very day, right after school and right before a chorale rehearsal that evening; I'm going to have to finish all my homework the day before. They look really excellent, though, and all reviews are incredibly positive. I am officially a Lord of the Rings geek now, and I couldn't be more excited. I don't see what so many people see in Elijah Wood, though..... It's kinda ironic that a 20-year-old is playing Frodo, a hobbit who's fifty when he begins on the journey, and the youngest hobbit is played by the oldest actor out of all four-- Billy boyd, at 34, plays Peregrin "Pippin" Took, who's 29. Yes, he actually says this in the book, when he's talking to Beregond's son in Gondor. I've also heard that Orlando Bloom is superb as Legolas, and Ian McKellen IS Gandalf.
On a different note, my boundless joy at purchasing Mighty Ducks action figured is somewhat abated because I still haven't gotten a Wildwing. Some of the smart people I know have reccommended looking at eBay... Currently I have Grin, Duke, and Nosedive, all from the Spy Squad series. Ooh! I also got an action figure of Rogue in her X-Men uniform, which is pretty darn cool. It's black (of course) with red accents. AND I got a Jean-Luc Picard action figure (with a fencing foil and real fencing action!) for TWO DOLLARS! Two dollars at K. B. Toys. What a steal! He also comes with a Starfleet (TM) type-II phaser, a Starfleet (TM) phaser rifle, a phaser rifle projectile (heeheehee), a Klingon D'k Tahg knife, and a Starfleet(TM) display stand. Tis' awesome, man. Two Freaking Bucks!!!
And yes, I do have The Spiral now. I just need to pester Z-chan with questions and type the first part(s) up. It shan't be too, long, I think...

New poetry! in the guest poetry section. More of my cousin's work, whee! go read it. Now. An' she sent a profile for her duck character, who will be appearing in a fic that we're co-writing that will be up on this page when I get a certain spiral notebook returned to me. I don't mind not having it, really, but all this talk of the fic seems to be counter-productive...... Anyhow, school has reinstated itself as my priority, so updates will be rather sparse for another ten months....

ALSO, my dear friend Myuu Olk is going to write some thingies about MDTAS and is going to let me post them (RIIIGHT, MYUU?? *nudgenudge*), so there will be several items in the MDTAS fic section. I'm goin' ta music camp! For 2 whole weeks. FLUFFINESS. Anyway, I was up way past my bedtime last night and it suddenly struck me how amusing it would be to write an X-Men/Mighty Ducks crossover, especially since Nosedive reads comics and Jubilee presumably watches cartoons... Hopefully odd Disney cartoons that only made one season. Anyway, this is just yet another proof that I am crazy. So, while I am still unable to get to my cousin (through incredible asininity on my father's part) to get the spiral with the beginning of our fic, I'm going to write this crossover! hahahahahaha!!! Anyway, I'm using my tedious paint program to make a picture of the Duck I created... Do you have any idea how hard it is to make something that looks halfway decent when you're using a freaking mouse??!? And the shading.... incredibly difficult and time consuming because what I have to do is "scribble" a darker colour (a *very precise process.* Hah, yeah right) and then use the button that adds intermediate colours to blend te scribble with the original. Anyway, I'll stop whining now..... I'm working on the MDTAS section, I promise! I just don't have much to put in it yet. Heh heh heh.... *sweatdrop* Anyway, laters!

G'day!! I put "High Voltage" up, all six parts that I have written! Joy! And very very very soon I plan to have some Mighty Ducks fiction up, because I say so because I'm obsessive about it right now. Heeheeheeeeeeeeeeeeeee Wildwing's a cutie! Anyway, I'm training myself to draw them, and it's deceptively simple-looking. Getting the proportions right is incredibly difficult! Anyway, Wing's the exception that proves the rule of "Callisto hates leader figures in her obsessions." Oh, wait, maybe not... I mean, he is the leader, but Canard was leader first.... and Canard certainly follows the trend of "Calli hates leaders".... I'm confused!!! Later, dudes, dudettes, and ducks!

I am now officially 14, as of yesterday. *grins* Big deal. Anyway, I've been on this HUMUNGO Mighty Ducks: TAS binge! That's a good thing, trust me-- it means I won't start ranting about X-Men, which has been the dominant obsession for the last year or so..... It's really a pity that MD: TAS got cancelled after only one season, it was a great show! Anyway, I'm going to be putting up a section for MD:TAS as soon as I have material to put in it, heh heh heh..... COMPLETE WITH A WILDWING SHRINE!! No, really! He's my newest character infatuation..... And I've been looking at so many Nosedive and Duke sites, but I've yet to see one for Wing. COME ON, I KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE WHO'S OBSESSED WITH HIM!!!! WE MUST UNITE!!!! ........Riiight. Anyway, I'm going to have some new X-Men fanfics up soon, I really am... And maybe a Mighty Ducks fic that I've been co-writing with my cousin, Z-chan! I mean it, I really will put stuff up. And who knows, if I'm lucky I'll finally type the rest of my Pokemon fic that's been in the works for several years! And get working on the first chapter (I have a 52 page "prologue", heh heh heh....)
