Psychotic Musings uponThe Chaos Engine Trilogy
Here's a quandary for you to ponder: If one has beenoutside of time when reality was altered, then one went back to this altered reality and was killed,
then the altered reality snapped back to real reality, would one still be dead?
If the altered reality was nothing but a horrid example of extreme psi-control (removal of memories, implanting false memories in thir place), then the control was brokenand reality snapped back into place, one would still be dead, wouldn't one? Gosh, that sucks.
So I guess one would still be dead, huh? Damn.
If the past had actually been altered to create an alternate timeline, then when that snapped back after the past was fixed, the alternate timeline would have never happened so if one had died in the alternate timeline, when the timeline was fixed, one would be alive. But then that whole outside-of-time thing would probably bite oneÕs ass so one would still be dead.
But since the altered reality is a big psi-illusion and not an alternate timeline, I guess it doesnÕt really matter if one had been outside of time, because one would still be dead. Dammit!
Sut then after reality was fixed, someone could go back outside time, right? And take one outside time before one died and take them to another time/dimension where they could be healed, right? And then one could return to oneÕs own reality and live out the rest of oneÕs life, right?
So therefore Roma could intervene and do the stuff I just said, so then Gambit wouldnÕt be dead! In theory. Theoretically, it works, whether one is time-displaced or whatever.
WAAAH! I donÕt want Remy to be dead!
