Asked about his arogance ...he replies
: " My spirits were extremely high after the super success of Hum aapke
hain kaun.
Now it has doubled because of Karan Arjun
, Jeet , Judwa , Hum saath saath hai , Jab pyar kissi se hota hai , Pyar
kiya to
darna kia ,etc., having swampered
the country for the past years. The Salman craze is still there. Everyone
should enjoy
failure.I have enjoyed failure. Success without failure is tasteless.
Asked why he distrust the press ...he replies
: " No.In general , when I read my interviews later, I am deceived. Personally
, I
do not think that the press is that important."
He was shooting bare chested on the beach
, looking at every passing girl .He says that he is always like that at
home.He is not
the like to accept the advice of others.
" I am like that ,'' he says smiling. If you ask him to wear something,
he will do exactly
the contrary. " I don't like people to force me doing things I don't like.''
He sleeps few hours , whiling the nights
in night boxes, and comes to shooting late. To this he says : " I am a
professional who
will honour his engagements , once the contract signed."
Concerning the awards he says: " I am not interested in these awards...I don't believe in them."
At the shooting, Salman stays apart ." I am concentrating on the senario like everybody .''
Now and then he will smile to his fans ." I do like my fans."
The competition at bollywood is heating up but he has no fear." I fear nobody but God."
And concerning Hrithik Roshan who can endanger his career , he adds : " Oh he's dam good , very good."
And the words for his fans : " I love them
all. If they want to see Salman Khan , they see Salman Khan, I don't want
to force
them. And when they see Salman Khan , it
doesn't mean that they don't have to watch everybody else, they watch everybody
else..."
Salman Khan is a typical commercial films
hero.To this he replies: " I do not like the concept of an art film because
when you
want to pass a message to the people,
this does not please them. If you make a film for money , you have to entertain
the
people. In today's life ,there is too
much stress. People do not come to watch a film for being depressed. On
the contrary ,
they enjoy themselves and I thing this is better. However , commercial
films too have messages."
Now, Salman Khan decides to take his lunch. He
approaches the table but to his surprise the plates are empty." No worry,
I 'll
fing something else." Actually his lunch
was at anither table reserved by Sajid Nadiawalla , his producer and long
term friend.
From his 30 released films experience, Salman has retained that " nothing lasts forever."
What Sajid Nadiawalla has to say about Salman :
" Once he's heard the script and is convinced
about it , he doesn't interfere at all. He never comes late , never cancels
shoots,
never throws tantrums. He has no ega problems
or any fixation with five-star hotel and meals. He mingles freely with
the unit.
Even his man Friday
, his driver and his secretary are so well mannered and polite that it's
a refreshing change."
To remind you that the two have worked together for Judwaa and Jeet and that HDJPK is their third film.
What Preity Zinta has to say about Salman :
"Lots of people say bad things for him. From
the time we have been working together , I have no bad souvenir of him.
As an
actor , he is intelligent .He improvise
much on shooting and the most important thing about him is that he is not
selfish. He has
helped me very much and he will never try
to steal your line or a scene to glorify himself during shooting. What plays
against him
is that he has a dark sense of humour.
I think it is great time to accept people as they are.We can not change
him. I have seen
his humanitarian side : he helps many poor people."
[From the press Salman receives the money
he gives to the Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital. in Mauritius he is supporting
a
cause for handicapped children.]
In HDJPK she plays Jhanvi , the girl friend of Salman. The two will also appear in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke.
