The People's
Champion
Wish kids meet their hero, WWF champion The Rock
He has been seen recently at both major political
conventions, where he was a guest speaker. His athletic exploits
are seen each week by millions of people around the world. And he
is so popular among wish kids, he might be renamed "The People's
Wish." His name is The Rock, and from coast to coast, Make-A-Wish®
kids are asking to meet the self-proclaimed "most electrifying man
in sports entertainment."
The Rock has graciously accommodated dozens of wish
children, and families, who longed to meet him — including
Billy, Tony, and Chris.

 Billy
Billy, a 17-year-old from Missouri, traveled
to Memphis to meet The Rock at a WWF event at the Pyramid.
Prior to leaving for Memphis, Billy and his family were picked
up in a huge stretch limousine. Billy loved all the attention
he received riding around the neighborhood. In exchange for
the many autographs and photos The Rock presented to Billy,
the youngster gave his hero a present — an autographed
picture of himself. After the meeting, Billy and his family
were special guests at the WWF event.

 Tony
Tony is a 13-year-old Arizona native, and a
huge fan of The People's Champion. Tony and his family traveled
to St. Louis to meet The Rock. According to Tony's mom Peggy,
"Tony relives his trip of meeting The Rock on a daily basis."
Once The Rock appears on a television, "out come the T-shirts
and the WWF figures and you do not dare interrupt!"

 Chris
Chris is a native of Great Barrington, Mass., and he did
not hesitate in the least when determining his wish. He wanted
to meet the WWF champion, and his wish was realized at the
Centrum arena in Worcester, Mass. During their encounter,
The Rock presented Chris with a variety of personal memorabilia
along with tickets to "WWF Raw." The inquisitive youngster
asked his hero what it takes to become a wrestling superstar.
In a wonderful culmination to the day, Chris cheered on The
Rock during his main event match.
