Blake's been traded to the Colorado Avalanche. The trade also included
center Steve Reinprecht. In return the Avs gave up Adam Deadmarsh, Aaron
Miller, a 1st round pick in the 2001 entry draft, and another pick if
Blake resigns with the Avalanche. What do I think of it all? Hard to say
whether the picks will amount to much considering they'll be one of the
last picks in the first round. At first glance I'd say the Avs seriously
made out in this deal. Personally the Avs were always my 2nd favorite
team so I'm glad if Blake went anywhere he went there. They're probably
my favorite team now. I don't understand how the Avs can afford so many
incredible players and the Kings can't but oh well. May as well give the
cup to the Avs now because the season is over. Best of luck Blake! Kings
graphics will remain until Blake is resigned by someone..

An old chat with Blake by ESPN can be found here. Added some new pics for
the 2000-2001 season. Blake's taking part in developing some sportswear
called Blueline. Not much news
about it yet but a preliminary site is up. Kings are playing well. Oh
and the Kings better resign Blake.

Some new photos added from the 99-00 season. Unfortunately the Los
Angeles Kings didn't go very far in the playoffs but they still have
some development to go through and the Red Wings are certainly one of
the better teams in the NHL. Blake had 0 goals and 2 assists out of 19
shots in 4 playoff games. The Wings did an effective job keeping Rob at
bay offensively. At even strength the Kings actually outscored the Wings
but the real tale was the specialty teams. LA kept putting themselves in
the box and gone are the days they used to be able to kill off penalties
(Bring coach Robinson back. Lappy? Bylsma? What happened guys?!). And
well, our power play didn't fare much better unfortunately. Personally I'm
not overly impressed by the new coach so far. But then again the guys
could make more of an effort to stay out of the box..

Welcome to the new Blake site. The previous Blake site can be found here
where you'll notice it has not been updated in over a year. The reason
being I lost the password and it will never be updated because geocities
won't tell me it. All photos and information have been moved over here..
If anyone knows where I can get a game-worn Blake jersey, please e-mail
me. Also please e-mail me any comments or suggestions or if you have any
Blake photos/videos/transcripts that I don't have. Thanks!
