We had the rear doors removed for our flight, so as to provide the clearest possible views for filming and photography. Our pilots ensured we had the opportunity to make the most of our air time.
A sight-seeing trip like this is something I would definitely recommend! Our flight was taken in the middle of the day and conditions were excellent - mild to warm, mainly sunny and not too windy. The Robinson R44 helicopter was a safe, comfortable and modern machine in which to fly.
Thanks to Mat and Rob at Heli Scenic Flights (Bankstown Helicopters) for our tour. It was a real thrill, and something out-of-the-ordinary. Hiring a helicopter is well worth the money and great fun, whether you are just after a joy flight or want to try some aerial photography.
