Receptia finala a constructiei s-a facut in 1933.
lecomunicatii.

Transilvania and in 1853 the Office in Sibiu has been inaugurated. The War of Crimeea (1853-1854) had an important role in the first telegraphic lines installation in Muntenia and Moldova. The lines were used by French troops with headquarters in Dobrogea or by Austrian army. Starting with 1853, hav been established the first telegraph offices in Iasi, Tecuci, Focsani, Galati. The building of Focsani Post Office was used, before unification, as custom check point between Muntenia and Moldova. In 1854, the link with Transilvania was maintained through Iasi, Tirgu Frumos, Tirgu Neamt, Falticeni and Suceava telegraph lines. Between 1881-1882 have been launched first phone lines in Romania. In 1882 in Iasi were functioning the first lines and terminals in Moldova and in 1884, in Galati, the City Hall expressed it's requirements: "The line will be made of iron being more resistant. The terminals will be ones of the newest and we mean Siemens... The terminal will be placed in a box made of wood or other material ... with a good lock. In 1883 was functioning the first phone line in Bucharest, being a private one between the store and "Socec" printing house. In 1886 the first switchboard was installed in Bucharest, with a capacity of 5 numbers, until 1895 reaching a total of 350 numbers. Between 1892 and 1893 were installed 21,5 km of phone network with 2 lines and 36 terminals. A manual switchboard with a capacity of 50 lines showed up, being installed in Doamnei Street, in the house of Post Administration.
