Called to be a Dreamer

What is the one key idea of this chapter. pay attention to the title of the chapter. One key idea from this chapter is that we are “Called to Dream.” God is calling us to be dreamer like Jesus was. This isn't a dream like when you sleep but when you think deeply about your future or just life in general. A way to understand parables from Jesus is to understand the story and reflect on it and relate to it. We need to understand the story or parable think about what it means. Then think of what the story says to ourselves and to the world today. One of the greatest dreamers of all time is Martin Luther King Jr. who dreamed about people black, and white allowed to be together.

Write about two major ideas you want to remeber. Write a short paragraph on each clearly stating the idea and then telling why you want to remember it.

Jesus performed many miracles during his ministry. His miracles include raising Lazarus from the dead, calming a storm, and changing water into wine. I want to remember the idea of miracles because even today we can perform miracles, even if they aren't the same kind as Jesus'.

In the Paschal mystery, Jesus suffered and died on the cross. He suffered to save us from sin. God is always with us even during times of suffering. The sorrow and pain of Jesus dying was not as big as his resurrection. i will remember this because Jesus suffered for us so i can suffer for him in times of need.

What is your favorite parable or miracle story? Cite the passage (book, chapter and verse) and explain why you chose this.

The Parable of The Prodigal Son
Luke 15:11-32
The Prodigal Son is my favorite of Jesus parables because i can relate to its literal story. I stay at home with my parents all school year but my brothers come home from college and we all celebrate. 1
