average of your 10 grades for the quarter will be used to determine your
academic report card grade. If all 10 of your graded assignments at the end of
the semester are “A” grades, a special Astronomy “Galileo” Award will be
given out to you.
* = BONUS POINT ASSIGNMENTS.
The opportunity to achieve TEN or more POINTS on these
assignments is available. The bonus points may be used to raise your
citizenship grade, raise your academic grade, make bathroom or locker trips.
One CHALLANGE assignment
is available for those who seek an honors grade in astronomy.

Planets”; “Doomsday Asteroid”; “Life on Jupiter”; “Galileo”; “Unfolding
Universe”;
