129. 1998 Epiphone Coronet w/Bigsby, 1998, extremely cool looks - good tone - good playability, excellent quality OBL pickups (same as found on many USA models back in the day), 3-way selector plus push/pull volume pot for coil split, vintage look with the classic gull wing 6/side headstock, bound rosewood neck with pearl block inlays, nicely rounded body edges are super comfortable, neck is slightly chunky - not huge but bigger and rounder than your average Gibson. Extremely clean condition, metallic red finish shines like new. This "Coronet with Vibrotone" model listed at $599 back in '98 and is a very cool import for just $275** | 130. 1964 Epiphone Wilshire: Cherry finish with slashed E vibrato and 2 mini-humbuckers. I'd seen this guitar at Guitar Center in Rancho Cugamungo, California a year ago and it was still there in September of this year and marked down from $1399 to $1250! They guy agreed on shipping for free and a free set of strings and a case! That was cool! **

137. Epiphone Wilshire Exclusive: I got this because it’s the closest thing to a Crestwood I’ll ever get!?!? Well, it would’ve been, but the neck was cracked! It was a tiny crack, but this was brand new at $249! I just needs my money back! Fuck that! |

136. Epiphone Olympic Double tobacco sunburst: I sold my Epi coronet for this! It’s going to a good home! Why do I have to own it? It’ll be there when I record at Alex’s! This guitar is almost all original. Just the wraparound tailpiece was missing! I bought a new one and it’s got the original chipboard case and the original pickguard! Pretty cool! Sounds great! Got this guitar mailed to me from Wintersound in Virginia! Imagine that!?!?!

2007 141. 1985 Rickenbacker 620/12 Mapleglo: Inspiration from Fred 'Sonic' Smith got me to get this guitar. I had originally tried to order this guitar from Musiciansfriend, but they were backordered and it just all seemed to be a big lie. So I went to GC and saw the Rick they had told me about and it just so happen to be the exact same guitar, just it was a 1985 instead of '86 and a 620 instead of a 640 which ain't even a model number for Rics. So of course, I wanted at least play the thing. It sounded really cool. I was only gonna get the fucker if I could get some finances for it and I was able to. So now I have the git! It's very cool! I'm happy with it. At first, I wasn't gettin' a case for it, and the mgr found the original case for it in the back. I just don't know why the fuck guitar stores are so hard up for guitar cases! What the fuck!??!?!?! I also got the fucker to gimme a set of strings and he went down on the price of the guitar from $1450 to $1300, so that was cool! But the tax brought it back up! Oh wells! I'll be payin' this fucker off in 6 months for the interest free! My first guitar for 2007! |

138. Wolf M-16 guitar: I’ve had my eye on this guitar for quite some time. I’d seen it in this guitar store/pawn shop when I first moved out to Cali! I thought it was cool. It’s kinda set up like a tele. I remember about 10 years ago, I wanted this Hondo gun guitar, but I didn’t have $450 and it didn’t have pick-ups in it. But nonetheless, it was cool! I’ve always thought they were cool. So, my opportunity came 10 years later at $200 bucks! It’s made in Korea. It’s black and it’s pretty cool for what it is. I had originally came into the store to get the Wolf Ric copy, but after inspecting it and playing, I’d made the decision to get the M-16. It’s a bolt-on neck, but it seems well built for what it is. The ric just seemed like it was a set neck, it would just break very easily! And the ric was $350. I really didn’t wanna spend that much on a copy! I would spend that much on an Epi or something, but not that much on an unknown copy! This M-16 guitar is a little hard to play because it has no body to it to rest your hand. I think that’s a drawback to it. As well as the volume and tone knobs on the pistol grip. That set-up is like that of a strat. And there’s no toggle switch, so that gets kinda confusing. It sounds alright! Nothing too spectacular. |

143. 2006 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop 1956 reissue with P90's: Just a cool guitar! I've always wanted a Goldtop and this was my opportunity and I took it. I traded up the Epiphone Olympic and the Rickenbacker 620. I had to! I wanted to! And I did! My first Gibson Goldtop! Probably not the last! I wanna get the Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop with mini-humbuckers! Soon! |

142. 2007 Gibson Melody Maker worn white reissue: I’d seen this guitar on Musicians Friend site and wasn’t sure when it would be available. Well, it was and I decided to order it with free shipping and no tax. Not bad for $349. Came with papers and original box. Pretty damn cool. The finish which ain’t really a finish is white. It’s a January 12, 2007 guitar. I got it on March 15, 2007. Not bad. I’m probably gonna get a white coffin case for it. I think this will be the new Bonephone. |
