The Butterfly Conservatory |

A gentle way to spend the afternoon consisted of visiting with thousands of free-flying butterflies. The conservatory building is like a glass greenhouse with huge rock structures inside that make a winding path upward, in a tropical forest setting. |

You aren't allowed to touch the butterflies in case of harming them. Their scales are very delicate and can be damaged easily, but the insects can land on YOU! |

He got as close as he could without actually touching, but they wouldn't step onto him. |

Even using all of his charm, he couldn't convince the critters! I think they might have been turned off by the ketchup and mustard on his face! Later that night, we returned to the Falls to watch the Canada Day fireworks. It was a very late night. |
