Wheels and tires: 18 x 8 (0mm offset) IROC's with 245-40-18 in front and 20 x 9 (15mm offset) IROC's with 275-35-20 in rear.
Wheels and tires purchased from Valley Custom Tire and Wheel in San Fernando, CA.
Suspension: Recently re-built using Graphite Impregnated Urethane Bushings on front suspension and on rear control arms. Lowered with Hotchkis Springs and KYB Shocks. All suspension parts supplied by Performance Suspension Components in Phoenix, Arizona and installed by Buck's Alignment in Newhall, CA.
Stereo: JVC AM/FM/CD with 12 CD Changer and remote. 300 watt amp, pre-amp, (4) 10 inch subs, (4) 5 1/4 inch mid bass, (4) 3 inch mid range, (4) 1 inch tweeters all by Rockford Fosgate. Car was featured in Car Audio magazine in 1987. Has won a few awards on system. Stereo system designed and installed by Power Station in Reseda, CA.
I am the original owner of this car and I bought it sight unseen back in March 1987 over the telephone through a company that deals with the company I work for. Car was delivered to my work for me and I signed paperwork to drive home.
Car was stolen in January 1998 at about 2AM but was recovered about 9AM on the same day. The thieves did not take anything from the car since they may have thought car was equipped with a Lo-Jack Vehicle Recovery System. The car was found about 2 miles from my house.
Once was back in my hands I took it to the body shop for repairs that were needed from minor damage during the theft. At that time I determined that I wanted the whole re-painted, all new weather stripping throughout, new carpeting and windows re-tinted darker. Note personalized license plate "AERO CPE".
Basically went through the car and replaced anything that I thought needed to be replaced or repaired.
