Lacrosse was the first, if not close to the first sport played in North America. Native Americans played the sport with hundrededs of people on each side and the goals are miles away. Lacrosse is full example of wonder and awe for me for many reasons.

Lacrosse is an example of Wonder and Awe to me because it is so beautiful in many ways. The first reason lacrosse is wonder and awe to me is because it causes a feeling of amazement after a player scores a goal, or prevents one. The feeling of an accomplishment is provoked because of the excitement of your peers. There is no other feeling in the world to describe its beauty. Another reason it is so beautiful is because it causes the use of team work, especially between positions. This team work leads me to great friendships that are also beautiful. The final reason I think lacrosse is so beautiful is because the qualities of hard work, sportsmanship and team work positively affect our adult lives with the games of lacrosse.

A Way lacrosse is an example of wonder and awe is that one of the qualities is curiosity. I am curious how Mikey Powell can "dangle", to get by in a cool looking manner, so many players and still score. I am curious if I can pull a spin move on the fat defender and not get laid out. I am curious how many tricks I can do with my lacrosse stick.

Lacrosse is obviously a type of wonder and awe.
