I've learned many very important things in theology III. One of the most important quotes I heard I this class was "the unexamined life is not worth living". This has impacted my life greatly because now I take time to examine not only my life but my decisions that may hurt others or myself. I examine how much time I put into my homework vs games. I also think about how much effort I put into lacrosse and evaluate if I am doing all I can to make varsity. I never knew a quote over a thousand years old could affect me as much as this one did.
I've learned to think more critically. I was reintroduced to the snail question and questioned about a small thing like where I sit in class. These both represent larger things. The snail question sees if you learn from your mistakes and where you sit in class helps you realizes if you’re sitting next to a friend or in the front if you want to learn more. Now I think
I've learned what many intelligent people said about the Human Condition. I never knew they were all believed life is suffering or all men seek happiness but none know how to achieve this.
In Wonder and Awe section I learned that all of Gods creations are beautiful and appear in nature all around us. We just have to stop in our busy lives and look around to find them. Ever thing is in nature is beautiful in its own way.
In the Faith and Reason section I learned a lot about how Faith/faith and reason relate to each other. I learned that faith is trusting and believing in something. In the assignment I learned I lie to make my life easier. Even if it wasn’t a big thing it was still lying. I learned the prep news motto “If nothing else value the truth". This is a very important quote that has been on the prep news since before I was born. It has affected my life in many ways. To be a real man, even if you have done wrong, tell the truth.

I also enjoyed this class because it talked about real issues such as the election and other things. We got all of the information to form our own views, such as on suicide bombers. I've never seen that side of them. I've only seen what the news had said and shown me about them.
