Mars

These  pics of mars were taken with my new ETX125 ec . On the 27/08/03  Mars made its closest approach to the Earth in nearly                    60,000 years - 55,758,006 km (34,646,418 miles). It shined at  magnitude -2.9 and cover an angular size of 25.1&quoot;.

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope took this snapshot of Mars 11 hours before the planet made its closest approach to Earth. The two planets are 34,648,840 miles (55,760,220 km) apart.
