aka "What the hell has got to a person's head to build this site?"

I'll just take one of those quizzes people love to send via e-mail (and I love to take them, as I'm quite egocentric) and use it to answer some questions about me, so that visitors at Revolution may have an idea of what kind of insane mind writes things in the site. By the way, since I'm a bit mutable myself, I believe this list will be changing with time...

Name: Marina. Ok, ok, though I love when people think my real name is Lyre, I decided to tell them the true one.

Nicknames: Uhn... There's a hundred names apart from the original, but none of them has ever been truly spread, no I can't say I've got nicknames.

Where and when she was born: 02/21/1985, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Physical description: 48 scarce kilos (about 71 lbs), green eyes, dark-blond hair (but it's light-blond *now*), 1,65m tall (about 5,41ft), snow white and wearing a yellow submarine tatoo and a piercing in my septum (is it the right word for it?!).

Estado civil: Single, thank God.

Family: My daddy and my young brother.

Pets: None... (*frustration*)

I'm just sittin' on a fence, you can say I got no sense, trying to make up my mind, really is too horrifying... So I'm sittin' on a fence... What useful thing does she do in life: I study Philosophy in Rio de Janeiro's Federal University, take art classes, spend daily

hours writing and piss a lot of people off.

 Hobbies: Writing, drawing and sleeping.

 Can't live without: Writing something.

Kinks: I must do eveything to the sound of music or any kind of noise and I hate carrying umbrellas on my bag.

 Fetish: Uhn... Hohoho... Gay people!

Superstition: I've got a lucky pair of earings.

A quality: I've got a gift for something.

A flaw: lazyness.

Quote: "The more I am, the less I know" George Harrison

Music: It's Beatles 'til I die; black, melodic death and heavy metal; sixties and seventies in general (Bee Gees, Carpenters, Led, Janis, etc); Chemical Brothers... Oh, come one, practically everything.

Films: Millions, but the unforgetable ones are "Gone with the Wind", "Hair", "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" (no comments) and "Yellow Submarine".

A person: John Lennon

A flower: Lily

Clothes: Jeans and t-shirts, anything as comfortable as can be.

A feeling: Determination

A gesture: Hug

A place: My living room

An object: A pencil (plus paper and an eraser: that's my life)

Favourite time of the day: By the end, when it's dusk

A verb: To win

Idol: My idols only exist on a paper sheet (or at least that what you'd think)

A day: Friday!
A letter: L

A number: 7

Believe in: Reincarnation, true friendship and fate

Don't believe in: Hell, absolute concepts and Marilyn Manson

Anime: What a stupid question... World's most obvious answer aside, I'll say some: Shoujo Kakumei

Utena, Card Captor Sakura, Cowboy Beebop, Excel Saga (RUUUULEZ!), X, Dragon Ball (no letters

attached), Photon, Shin-chan and Hamtaro (oh, come on, people, Hamtaro's great...), plus a hundred

 cartoons I've forgotten.

Manga: Rurouni Kenshin, Evangelion, Magic Knight Rayearth, Love Hina, Chobits.

Capitalist cartoons: Sponge Bob, South Park, Ginger, Hey Arnold and Garfield (the oldies).

A book: "Steppenwolf", by Herman Hesse and "The Solitaire Mistery", by Jostein Gaarder.
 A subject: Philosophy!

Series: "El Chavo del Ocho" (I have no idea whether it was broadcasted outside South America, so I just put the original name), "Friends" (what a

cliche!), "Will and Grace", "That 70s Show", "Seinfeld", "Wonder Years" and "Sex in the City".

A song: Millions, but I'll say the first one that comes to my mind: "Let it be", by the Beatles.

A dream: Work as a cartoonist/script writer in Japan.

Motto: Actually, two: "When in doubt, f*** it!" (hey, it was who Lennon said that!), and "Be wild".

*Weren's cave map*

1- Hair under constant mutation state (look carefully, they may be in a different color or size tomorrow...)

2- Computer's constantly turned on (blessed be cable internet!), and... oh, what a surprise! Frontpage's running editing of this site's html files!

3- First symptom of the ogre’s obsession-compulsion: a completely useless clock (since there are other 4 clocks and watches over the cave), which makes a damn noise, with the picture of a *little* suspect saint; notice that, just beside that, there’s a miniposter behind the junk thingies, with more pictures of a famous anime

4- Second symptom: a giant poster of the ogre’s favorite band. Note: luckily, the ogre’s brother took a picture of the most untidy side of the cave, but not the most scandalous part: on the opposite wall there are other two posters with the four hairy guys and a huge third one, with more pics of the zodiac victims

5- Documents required for taking a driver’s license, which will likely rot until the ogre remembers to do anything with it

6- Two paper sheets *full* of drawings to be done, ordered by the ogre’s consultant and best friend (notice that, beside number two, there are more post-its with to-do topics)

7- A notebook with enough space for writing down all crazy things that comes to the ogre’s mind and, of course, pending jobs and site details

8- A paradisiacal landscape stamped mousepad, ogre’s consolation when he looks in the mirror and finds out his scales are the same color as the wallpaper’s, and when studying must replace leisure (which happen too rarely, actually)

9- An example of how the ogre is careful with its own stuff: the lightdesk its father made himself is lying in a extremely dangerous position!

10- Wallpaper, fading and sticking out

11- Paper, paper, paper... (ever heard of that story about how 40% of the world’s garbage is made of paper? Yeah, half of it comes from here!)

12- Again, we can’t see well because of the photo, but here we would see the ogre’s performing one his favorite activities: torturing his spine, remaining on bizarre positions for hours in front of a computer

13- If one day you fell like missing a pen in your house, just knock at the ogre’s cave!
