Mary Elizabeth Patterson, 93 of Clinton passed away Friday July 26, 2002 at her residence.

Mary was born June 30, 1909, in Anderson County.

She was a member of North Clinton Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Mallie Patterson; daughter, Shirley Patterson; son, Mallie Patterson Jr.; parents, Bill and Dovie Lively.

Survivors: sons, Don Patterson and wife Sandra of Clinton, Carl Patterson and wife Marilyn of Jefferson City; daughter, Kathleen Johnson of Calumet City, IL; brother, Early Duncan; sister-in-law, Della West of Devonia; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Lois Hutchinson of Lake City; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday, July 28, 2002 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service following at 8 pm in the chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating. Interment will be at 10 am Monday, July 29, 2002 at Blowing Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
