She was born Nov. 21, 1916 in Briceville.
She was a member of Indian Bluff Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by: Husband, Pearley Byrge; parents, Noah and Hannah Smiddy Braden; sisters, Sallie Braden, Ruth Braden, Maggie Goans; brothers, Byrd Braden and Ed Braden.
Survivors: Daughter, Hannah Douglas and husband Larry of Briceville; sons, Tom Byrge and wife Minnie of Lake City, Everett Byrge and wife Gail of Briceville, Freeman Byrge and wife Rita of Lake City; brothers, Ray Bunch of Cleveland, OH, Jerry Braden of Clinton, Terry Braden of Kingston, Larry Braden of Lake City; sisters, Jennie B. Green of LaFollette, Rebecca Isabell of Lake City, Betty Sue Crowley of Siler, KY; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-9 pm Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Friday, Dec. 15, 2000 at Indain Bluff Baptist Church in Briceville with the Rev. Tom Byrge, the Rev. Ernest Ward and the Rev. Robbie Leach officiating.
Interment will follow in Indian Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery in Briceville.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City in charge of all arrangements.
