Eva Byrge, age 80, a resident of Clinton, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2006 at home.
Mrs. Byrge was born June 15, 1925 in New River moving to Clinton in 1971.
Eva was a member of the Free Communion Baptist Church in Devonia.
She was a homemaker and she enjoyed flower gardening, the Atlanta Braves and the Tennessee Vols.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maynard Bunch and Emily Byrge Bunch; by brothers, Dave, Henry, John, Jim, Ike, and Charlie Bunch; and by sisters, Cassie Phillips, Dessie Ward, Sallie Lowe, and Rosa Lee McGhee. Survivors: Husband, Johnny Byrge of Clinton; Sisters, Hassie Daugherty of Clinton, Allie Phillips of Devonia, special niece, Phyllis Borum and husband Roy of Oliver Springs; special nephews, Clinton, Rabon Bunch of Devonia, Danny Byrge and wife Gretchen, & son Jonathan of Oliver Springs.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 19, 2006 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 8:00 pm with Rev. Robbie Leach and Rev. Ralph Wilson officiating.
Burial and graveside services will be held Monday, March 20, 2006 at 11:00 am at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
