Evelyn May Bunch, 67, Lake City in the Medford community, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at her home.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed to sing while watching gospel on television.

Evelyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends whom she loved very much.

She was born Feb. 17, 1939, to the late Lonzie and Marie Patterson Phillips.

Evelyn is also preceded in death by: Sisters, Redis Ruth Phillips and Eutta Phillips.

Survivors: Husband, Arnold Bunch of Lake City; sons, Eddie Bunch and wife Denise of Knoxville; daughters, Joy Davis and husband Tommy of Lake City, Syrenna Neland and husband Pat of Briceville; brother, James Phillips of Pennsylvania; sisters, Shelby Bunch of Pennsylvania, Aline Eichelburger of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation was held from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Guiding Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Ault officiating.

Interment followed the funeral service at Browns Flat Cemetery in Briceville.

Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City was in charge of arrangements.
