Betty Borum, 69, Clinton, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at St. Mary's Residential Hospice.

Betty was born March 24, 1936, in Coalfield.

Preceded in death by: Husband, William "Bill" Borum; parents, Elijah and Mamie Russell Woods; brothers, Ross H. Fagan and Tommy Woods.

Survivors: Son, Tim Borum and wife Amanda of Clinton; grandson, Tucker Borum of Clinton; sisters, Laverne Duncan and husband Burley of Oliver Springs, Corene Holbert and husband Leroy of Halls, Jo Griffith and husband David of Georgetown, Ky., Joy Brown and husband Ron of Kingston; brothers, Paul Woods and wife Carol of Florence, Ky., Maurice Woods and wife Martha of Oliver Springs; several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Pastor Stan Elliott officiating.

Her burial was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at Anderson Memorial Garden. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
