Nina Elizabeth Beets, 81, of Clinton died Monday in her residence.

The daughter of John and Mary Wade Collins she was born Jan 21, 1913 in Knoxville. Mrs. Beets was a member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Moss L. Beets; a son, Kenneth B. Beets and her parents.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Martha Beets, Bobbie and Tommy Evans, Kaye and Bob Bice and Joyce Massengill, all of Clinton; six sons and daughters-in-laws, Wayne and Edna Beets, the Rev. Layton and Joyce Beets, the Rev. Moss H. and Lucille Beets, Charles and JoAnn Beets, J.D. and Sue Beets and Dennis Beets, all of Clinton; 26 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Beets of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 8:30 pm Wednesday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Seeber officiating. Burial will be 11 am Thursday in Zion Cemetery.

Family will receive friends 7-8:30 pm Wednesday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.
