James “Jim” Beets, 68, of Clinton, died Friday in Windwood Health Care Center.

Mr. Beets was a member of Hillvale Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred L. Beets Sr., and sister, Faye Hatfield.

Survivors include his mother, Beulah Foust Beets; sisters, Anna Lou Hansard of Clinton and Mary Helen McNair of Oak Ridge; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred Jr., and Millie Beets, Ray Foust and Arnold Beets, all of Clinton; special nephew and niece, Eddie and Debbi Beets of Clinton; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Sunday in Hillvale Baptist Church with the Rev. David Crowley officiating.

Graveside service was Monday in Foust Cemetery, Clinton.

Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
