Kathryn Jane Beauchamp, age 82, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000 at Methodist Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 2, 1918 in Paris, IL to parents John Allan Morris and Beulah Own Morris.

Mrs. Beauchamp had been a resident of Oak Ridge since 1944. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was an avid bridge player.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Edward E. Beauchamp, Aug. 17, 1979.

Survivors: son, with whom she lived, Alan Beauchamp and fiancée Dana Howard and her daughters Ashley and Stephanie; daughter, Jeannie Beauchamp Scott and husband Lee of Clarksville; step-daughter, Lee Ann Coulson and husband Stephen of Knoxville.

The family received friends 6-8 pm Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000 at Weatherford Mortuary.

Funeral services were 10 am Friday, Dec. 8, 2000 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Diaz officiating. Pallbearers were Don Layton, Steve Fritts, John Shuey, Steve Tadlock, Stacy Tadlock and Lee Scott. A private graveside service will take place in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
