Batik! It's easy, with a little know-how.


1. mix 1 cup and 3 tbsp flour into 1 cup water and pour into a squeeze bottle - use this instead of wax to batik cloth or paper. you can also melt crayons! 2. add food coloring or dye to change the color. 3. paint or sponge on the dye in places you like by color on prewashed cloth. you don't have to cover sections, only paint! 4. let dry overnight before crackling. 5. brush off or rub off the "wax" gently, and you have a batiked cloth!
