Here are instructions for making paper jewelry.

1. Use thick paper for flat pieces- water color paper, cardboard, paperboard all make good options. Find things you can use, like tissue boxes, cereal boxes, old greeting cards.
2. Cut them out in designs you like. Make fans, shells, flowers.
3. Decorate your pieces with paint, markers, crayons, or anything you like.
4. Punch a small hole in the top, and if desired, the bottom, of each piece.
5. To make paper beads, use thin paper. Cut long strips in the shape of long triangles. Roll the piece from the wide end to the point on a toothpick. Glue in place.
6. Cover all your beads and flat pieces with a coat of clear nailpolish or clear varnish.
7. To make necklaces and bracelets: thread a string through the holes of the beads and pendants, then attach a fastener, or tie to make a long loose necklace.
8. To make earrings, use small round loops to connect flat pieces in sequence (one at the top, another at the bottom). Use straight metal pieces for the beads. Attach them to a earring front.
9. You can also make rings by gluing the paper pieces on a plain ring,
