Welcome to Reed's Rave Reviews III. After God, my husband, my children, grandchildren and my greatgrandchildren, I love MUSIC. It has been a part of my life since I was a very little girl. I started singing when I could talk and at 18 months was put upon a footstool to sing for family and company and have been singing ever since. I also started to play the piano around 4 years of age. I learned to play by ear, then I taught myself the notes and then at 16 I took six weeks of theory lessons on why I was doing what I already played. Back then you didn't need a license to teach. I took a State Test and started teaching piano and organ and taught a total of 23 years before changing careers. All of my children learned to play, some exceptionally well and the rest for their own enjoyment, but they did learn. I've also taught several of my grandchildren and I now have two little greatgrandaughters who are learning and they're becoming quite accomplished. I play around 14 musical instruments, write music and lyrics, also write poetry and some stories. This site is added to my others as an addition to all I want to do and say before I go to Heaven.
