The furthest thing from my mind in December 2006 was adding a new addition to the family. Yet when I learned about this puppy and the excellent health, working abilities and conformation factors in her lineage it turned out to be a matter of when, not if, puppy Caper would come to live with us. Thank you Lorna for going above and beyond to deliver her safely into my waiting arms!
Everyday she continues to impress me with her exceptional character and temperament. Caper is bold & confident with solid nerve, extreme hardness and is highly food and prey driven.
We look forward with anticipation to her future on the sport field and anywhere else our journey together might bring us. This exciting young girl should be unstoppable! We anticipate that she will have a very positive influence within our breeding program as well.

Her retrieve drive was evident right from the beginning and has been shaped since puppyhood. She is seldom without something in her mouth. Below she displays her prey drive as she leaps for tossed snowballs.
Caper never missed a beat when arriving from sunny California into Vermont's cold snows.
At 7 months old Caper made her debut in the conformation ring garnering 2 Reserve Winners placements and her first points towards her championship. Just wait until she gets through her gangly teenager period; there will be no stopping her!
