Prebuffy
He growled at them and slammed the door shut. "Open up," came a shout from outside. "We'd like to finish what we started." A huge bang on the door shook Buffy from her slumber. She walked into the entry way, holding on to the staircase. "What's going on?"she asked groggily. "Are they back? Don't let them in...Dawn's here...." Angel started to panic, mildly. Between the smell of her blood and the threat of any Summers girl being hurt, he almost froze, not knowing what to do. Before he could make a solid decision, Spike entered through the back door. "What the hell is going on?" he asked. "How is that any of your business?" Angel replied, showing teeth. "It's been my business for a while, now, old friend." He saw Buffy, bandaged, but still bleeding. He ran to her side."Are you okay?" he asked, concerned, and looked up the stairs. "Is the Little Bit okay?" "She's fine. But, Spike, I need you to gether out of here." She looked at him, wounded and pitiful. "She's safe with you." Angel watched from the doorway, extremely irritated and torn between his emotions. "I'm not leaving you, Summers. There are a lot of vamps waiting right outside your door." "How many?" she asked. "Ummmmm.....All of them," he replied. "But I WILL NOT let ANY of them get in. No one is going to hurt you. Not while I'm around." Angel stood in front of them, arms crossed, looking supremely annoyed. "Oh, yeah, you're a huge help when it comes to these things. Aren't you the one who used to be the cause of all the touble around here?? Or have we forgotten that? Wait, how do we know you're not the one doing this now..." Buffy intervened. "Okay, you guys, please stop it. I can't deal with this now." She looked like she was about to cry. They stopped, momentarily, for her. She took a deep breath. "Now, here's the plan."
