Welcome to Redcoat, a chronicle of
the Canadian military experience during the Victorian era.
This site actually began by accident while
I was experimenting with my newfound knowledge of HTML. I've often marvelled
at many of the excellent websites out there, and wondered how exactly the
"webmasters" managed to put them together. So I tried my hand at webpage
construction, and found it very much to my liking. One thing led to another,
and before long I had
combined my two interests, HTML and Canadian
military history, into one creation.
I am open to comments and suggestions from
my visitors. You can email me,
or you can leave your comments in the guestbook. I have numerous polls and rating systems so I can keep in touch with what the public wants to see here, please take the time to fill them out and register your opinions.
Please note: this site makes use of Javascript
and style sheets. If these are disabled on your browser, or your broswer
does not support them, this site will not appear as it was intended on
your computer.
This site was created with Netscape Navigator
v4.7 and works best with that browser. You can download the latest version
of Netscape at http://www.netscape.com
In conclusion, I'd like to quote an oft-cited
webmaster sentiment by saying I hope you enjoy viewing this site as much
as I enjoyed making it.
