"I'M SAVED! ! - - -
- - -NOW WHAT!?"
WELCOME TO GOD'S ETERNAL FAMILY!   If you, by faith, have received Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as your personal Lord and Savior, you have passed out of Satan's death family into the family of God.

Scripture reminds us of God's promises:

JOHN 1:12   "But as many as receive Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."

ROMANS  10:13   "For whosoever shall call (in prayer) upon the name (Jesus-Son of God) of the Lord shall be saved."

JOHN 3:36   "He that believeth on the Son has everlasting life; and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him."

All through the Gospel of John are  the promises of Jesus that "whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life".   We can rest assured that His promises are never broken.  What a blessed salvation!

Now that you have trusted in the crucified, risen Lord, and you have the assurance of Heaven - WHAT'S NEXT???????

You must realize that God's plan for you as His child is to be fashioned to the image of His Son.  This reminds us that our life should be holy - - as Jesus Christ is holy.

God commands that we love Him.  MATTHEW 22:37-39 says, Thy shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind . . and shall love thy neighbor as thyself."

BELIVERS are to prove their love to God by keeping His commandments.  JOHN 14:15 says, "If you love Me, keep My Commandments."

We in the family of God should desire to do "good works".  The Apostle Paul said, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God had ordained that we should walk in them".

BAPTISM by immersion is important to the spiritual maturity of a believer.  Jesus told His disciples to go into all the world preaching the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Believers are to be baptized (immersed) in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Baptism has no part in salvation, but is done in OBEDIENCE to Christ and publicly identifies the believer with Christ.

The Bible is a must for spiritual growth.  New Christians, need to study the basic teachings of Scripture, so they can stand firmly when false teachings come at them.  In MATTHEW 4:4 Jesus said,  "It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that procedes from the mouth of God".

PRAYER is important in the life of a believer.  God wants us to call upon Him.  LUKE 11:9 Jesus said,  "Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

Remember that a CHRISTIAN is saved to SERVE.  What does the Lord God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to love Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

GIVING of tithes and offerings is truly a sign of OBEDIENCE  to God and indicates spiritual growth.

I pray that all who read this are truly saved, and that they will whole heartedly hunger and thirst after God, seeking to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I shall not be ashamed of the Lord Jeses Christ, and with all boldness I want nothing more than Christ to be magnified in my body.

"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."  All praise be unto my awesome Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ!!!
