Tippy:
a 7-8 year old Standard Manchester Terrier. His human dad passed away
and now needs a new home. Tippy is good with older kids, but
really just wants to be someone's lap dog. He weighed 55 lbs. (yes, you
read that right!) when he came to me the first time, and he is now down
to about 40 lbs. He is still overweight but better at least. He had
always been fed table food (said Tip wouldn't eat dog food--I cured that
fast!). Tippy gets along well with other dogs. We do not
know how he is around cats.
Tippy is neutered and up to date on shots. He is currently being
fostered in the Greensboro, NC area. If you are interested in adopting
Tippy, please email Paula with AMTC
Rescue for an adoption application.

Dylan: Single, Black & Tan, Neutered Male
seeking Loving Family.
Dylan is now 6 years old and ready to settle down and be committed to
one family for the rest of his life. He was found as a stray by the dog
pound and his owner’s never came to claim him. He was adopted out once
and then returned when the new owners found out he had a level 4 heart
murmur (which has no impact on his overall health at this time but may
require medication in the future). He was then pulled by another rescue
group and currently in a foster home with AMTC Rescue.
Dylan needs to be the only dog in a terrier experienced home without
young children. Dylan has not had an easy life so far and probably
suffered from years of neglect. He loves to be close to his humans and
wants to be loved on. His hobbies are cuddling, watching TV with his
people, playing with chew toys by himself. He is good with dogs, but
prefers to be alone with his humans. Dylan is a real love bug and just
wants to cuddle all the time.
Dylan is housebroken, crate trained, neutered and up to date on shots.
He is being fostered in the Dayton, OH area. If you are interested in
adopting Dylan, please fill out an adoption application atAMTC
Rescue and email it to Sandi.

Kurtis:
is a 4 month old Manchester Terrier. He was dumped by his first owner at
the pound. Kurtis was pulled by HART Rescue and placed into foster care.
Kurtis has had a rough start in life, but his foster mom says she is
already starting to see improvement in his behavior. She is working on
socializing him with dogs, cats, and people. He is not yet housebroken
because he is still just a baby. His new family must be committed to
obedience training and socializing him.
Kurtis is neutered and up to date on shots. He is currently being
fostered in the Dallas, TX area. His rescue group is willing to consider
long ditance adoptions. If you are interested in adopting Kurtis, please
email HART or go to their

Lucky: is one lucky Toy Manchester Terrier. He was pulled from
the Houston SPCA by an IMPS
(Min Pin Rescue) volunteer since they thought he was an au natural Min
Pin. He is actually a 6 year old Toy Manchester!
He was rescued from a neglect situation near Corpus Cristi, TX. He was
badly malnourished and had to have 12 teeth removed and a full dental.
He also had liver problems that were treated. His liver count is finally
down to normal. He is currently going through HW treatment and then he
will be ready for adoption. So far around $650 has been spent on getting
Lucky healthy and ready for adoption.
Lucky is a great dog. He is a real snuggler and happiest if he is being
held. He gets very frightened in new situations and when he is not sure
what is going on. He is a velcro dog and follows you everywhere. Lucky
would be best as an only dog because he is very jealous of other dogs
receiving attention. His new family needs to commit to taking him to
obedience training to teach him some basic manners.
He is neutered, up to date on shots, will be heartworm free prior to
adoption. Lucky is being fostered in the Houston, TX area. If you would
like to adopt Lucky, contact Darla
Palevich. Donations are graciously accepted to help cover the costs
of Lucky’s vet bills and heartworm treatment.
