Since December 10, 1949, Beta Lambda Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has been a key element in the Raleigh community. Based on our national slogan, “Greater Service, Greater Progress”, Beta Lambda Sigma has formed partnerships with the Harriet B. Webster Task Force for Student Success, the Glory to Glory Ministry, a home for HIV positive women, and a local high school. Our chapter works to improve the quality of our lives, our youth, our families, our communities, and our country. Beta Lambda Sigma Chapter wrote a grant entitled “Give A Child a Lift; Use Booster Seats.” A grant was received from the National Buckle Up Campaign. This grant money was used to purchase booster seats for infants and youths. In support of one of our National projects, Project Reassurance, these seats were donated to expectant teens at a local high school and to a local church. Beta Lambda Sigma sponsors two undergraduate chapters, Nu chapter at Saint Augustine's College and Beta Theta at Shaw University. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website.
