Personal Information

I live in Surprise, Arizona which is a suburb of Phoenix.
I was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 12, 1945.
Grew up in Bosler, Wyoming which is near Laramie.
Graduated from Laramie Senior High School in 1963.
Joined the Marines after graduation.
Became an air/naval gunfire radio operator.
Went to Okinawa, Guam, Phillipines, Japan, Thailand and ended up in Viet Nam.
I saw combat near Phu Bai and Danang.
Went to the University of Wyoming then Arizona State University.
Earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education.
Taught School: Mayer, AZ (3 yrs), Kalamazoo, MI (2 yrs) & Phoenix, AZ (25 yrs).
After retiring, worked three summers at Bryce Canyon National Park.
National Park Ranger at Mesa Verde NP, Yosemite NP and in Anchorage, AK.
I was in Alaska when the 911 attack occurred.
Currently retired; enjoying life building K'NEX and LEGO robots and structures.
I am an atheist who is politically Independent.
