A note from the editor....

Greetings!!
Welcome to "The RadioDXer"! My name is Peter Q. George. I live in suburban Boston, Massachusetts and I have been involved with radio and television throughout most of my life. While I am not working on my various Internet websites (and there are a few of them...), I work fulltime as a Media/Videographer at Stonehill College... a small, but highly regarded college in North Easton, Massachusetts. In addition, I am Chief Engineer of several college FM radio stations in Eastern and Central Massachusetts. I am happily married for nearly 23 years and have two fantastic kids named Kyle and Kevin. Fortunately, for me, my wonderful wife Mallori is very supportive of my DX hobby.
Over the course of the past 40+ years, I have received over 400+ FM radio stations and hundreds of TV stations in 36 states and 5 Canadian provinces. I guess broadcasting is in my blood. Whenever I travel across the country, I ALWAYS pack a portable AM, FM and Shortwave receiver.....just in case... ;)! Because.... you just don't know! (My favorite place to visit is in the Southwestern US, especially in Arizona. Also I love visiting Orange County, California). I AM what many people would call a "radiojunkie". In addition to my DX'ing hobby, I am a VERY active ham radio operator and have contacted many countries around the world (including France, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Cuba, Lithuania, Belgium, Canada and others, as well as many locations around the United States including the State of Hawaii). My call-sign is K1XRB, and you can find me on 2, 10, 15, 17 and 20 meters as well as 440 MHz. I hope you are enjoying my little place in cyber-space. If you have any questions about anything you see on these pages, or if you would like to contribute your own pearls of wisdom, I would love to hear from you! Thanks for visiting and please sign our Guestbook before you leave! Thanks and 73!
