DFINT-3T
Tactical Communications Direction Finding (DF) and Intelligence System

Description

Modern DF Systems providing accurate, fast, sensitive, stable line of bearing and location information about communications emitters are indispensible tactical intelligence sources. DFINT-3T, Transportable DF system has been developed to fulfil this mission.

DFINT-3T operates in the VHF/UHF fraquency band to intercept, DF and analyse target communications. It is able to find the location of emitters by collaborating with other DFINT-3(X) systems via wireless or wired nets.

DFINT-3T, has been designed for use on land, airborne and naval platforms. It can be deployed with the standart high gain antenna of the DFINT-3A or low profile disguised antenna. In land based transportable applications, DFINT-3T system can be carried by two or three men to spots where it is hard to reach by vehicles. DFINT-3T, provides excellent interactive data presentations in eighter graphical or list formats in order to accelerate information conveyance, some of which are:

  • Simultaneous real-time Line-of-Bearing (LOB) vs. Frequency and Amplitude vs. Frequency graphics in DF SCAN mode,
  • On-screen digital Panoramic Spectrum and Polar LOB plot for monitoring or fast scanning of targets in DF STEP Mode.

Behind these superior display capabilities, a powerful up-to-date DSP based architecture operates for exceeding an impressive DF scan speed of 500 MHz/sec. By means of this performance, DFINT-3T can intercept and find LOBs of frequency hoppers and burst transmissions.
