Night Vision Monocular

ASELSAN models M982 and M983/M983A are night vision monocular systems that offer high resolution, image intensified night vision in a very light weight single-tube and single eyepiece configuration.

The M982, M983 and M983A models are identical except for the image intensifier.

The new concept of a single-eye format night vision monocular is based on independent use of each eye. One eye is equipped with a night vision device while the other eye remains free and uncovered. A major disadvantage of the standard dual-eye goggle is the one-minute pupil dilation period after the goggle is removed. During this period, the user may be night-blind. With ASELSAN monocular goggles, the uncovered eye is already dilated and provides instant to ambient light viewing.

Another advantage of the monocular is the wider perceived Field of View (FOV). This configuration gives the user the sense of a greater FOV.

For long-range observation, both models can be easily field-converted to X3 magnification by an objective lens change.

Night Vision Binocular

ASELSAN models M977 and M978/M978A are night vision binoculars that offer high resolution, image intensified night vision in a very light weight, compact, single-tube configuration, for medium range. For short-range use, both models can be field converted to a X1 goggle by simple objective lens change.

The M977, M978 and M978A models are identical except for the image intensifier.

IRHN-9396 Laser Infrared Aiming Device

Aselsan’s IRHN-9396 provides a rapid, accurate aim point for professional engaged in night operations. The IRHN-9396 does this by projecting an intense, continuous IR laser beam which is invisible to the eye but can be readily seen with night vision goggles. Once it is boresighted to a weapon, the operator simply puts the laser beam on target and fires.

Advanced optical design and unique optical baffle reduce off-axis detectability to ³ 9o being seen by others using night vision devices. The optical baffle is screwed on to the front of the aiming light.

Aviator’s Night Vision System

ASELSAN M929/930 Aviator’s Goggle offers substantial improvements over earlier night vision systems. It can be fitted with third-generation and advanced third-generation image intensifier tubes. ASELSAN M929/930 ANVIS goggle offers improved flash response. The image detail stays clear and bright, even when flares or bright lights enter into the field of view.

M929 and M930 are identical  except the mounts, M929 has "standard" mount assembly, M930 has "offset" mount assembly.

High Performance 6X  Individual Night Weapon Sight

M994, M995 / M995A night weapon sight is one of ASELSAN’s latest technology. This unique, new, high performance, individual night weapon sight is compact, light weight and user friendly. Because of the offset eyepiece design, a more conventional head position can be used, just as for a day aiming posture. The design eliminates a major disadvantage of older high profile night sights.

A variable intensity red reticle is optically superimposed on the green intensified image, providing the marksman with an extremely visible, high contrast, accurate aiming capability.

M994, M995 / M995A models differ only in the type of interchangeable image intensifier tube assemblies in Gen II, III and advanced Gen III. A 4X interchangeable objective lens is also available for weapons requiring a shorter viewing range.

High Performance 4X  Individual Night Weapon Sight

M992, M993 / M993A night weapon sight is one of ASELSAN’s latest technology. This unique, new, high performance, individual night weapon sight is compact, light weight and user friendly. Because of the offset eyepiece design, a more conventional head position can be used, just as for a day aiming posture. The design eliminates a major disadvantage of older high profile night sights.
