| Gene Cole, CEO of Gates-Cole Insurance was also a champoinship stock car driver. He started out so-so, but when joined with Willie Wust, became unbeatable. One year at Morris Speedway, they put a bounty for anyone who could beat him, but no one ever collected it. In his final years, he drove for Gene Johnson. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999 |
