Product Description:


Totally free screensaver containing 50 high full-resolution images of flowers which are displayed using various transition effects which you can choose.   I have taken these photos in the summer of 1999 at the Montreal Botanical Gardens and in other areas of Montreal or the province of Quebec in Canada.  Password protection can be used by the computer user.   All pictures can be enlarged to fit the screen without any distortion of the image.  You can also have the screensaver display images in black and white instead of color (very artistic).  Images can be set to be viewed sequentially or randomly.

I used a D-340R Olympus digital camera (http://www.olympusamerica.com) which I bought on the internet from http://www.megadepot.com and I mostly used  the macro function which is a special function of this camera.   For more images using this camera, check out my webpage on http://community.webshots.com/user?rjbilodeau.

All pictures can also be used as computer wallpaper or backgrounds.  Please note however that each image is by itself copyright (© 1999 Rachel Jacklyn Bilodeau ) and cannot be used on any website without the appropriate credit and link back to my websites.

Main Requirements:


Runs on Win 3x, Win95, Win98, WinNT.  Screensaver Images will look their best when viewed at 16 million colors or 24 million colors and can easily be printed from your web browser or any graphic utility program. Images will fit the screen perfectly at 640 x 480 resolution and will need to be enlarged to fit scren at 800x600 resolution.

The files included in the program zip file (flopow10.zip) include the following:

Installation and Uninstallation:

The program installs a file called Flower Power Saver.dat and Flower Power Saver.scr in your c:\windows directory.  To uninstall, simply click start/programs/Flower Power Saver/uninstall Flower Power Saver. You cannot uninstall from the control panel applet called Add/Remove Programs.  You should never just delete the files to uninstall.

Detailed Distribution Policy:

This screensaver may be distributed freely, credits intact.  Please distribute the screensaver file complete, with the readme.doc file, i.e. the flopow10.zip instead of the flowerpower.exe.   No warranty of any kind is made for any use.  All images are my own creation and were taken with a D340R Olympus digital camera this summer.  Please note however that all images are copyright and cannot be used in other applications except this screensaver unless images are installed as a background or wallpaper.  All images may not be posted on any website which offers free member photo galleries such as  http://community.webshots.com and may not be submitted for any photo contests on the internet or elsewhere.
