Lies

When I was about 14 yrs old, a friend wanted me to skip school with her. I had recently been caught doing just that so wanted to keep out of trouble for a little while. She told me that she was going to end her life by taking barbituates. I went to her house, therefore taking the day off school. I took the drugs off her intending to throw them away. When I got home, my parents had found out that I didn't go to school. I got a severe beating from my mother. Meanwhile the drugs were in my pocket. All I could think was, 'Don't fall out!!'
