Sai-Nah Part 2 By: Quistis_Trepe1988 Sobe is a large town to the people living there, but it was considered small to everyone else. The closest town, Marak, was the home to over three hundred thousand people. Sobe only had two hundred people living there. It is the home of Sai-Nah, a girl who had lived there since she was two, when she had fled from Narimah, with her mother and father when they were attacked by King Christoph’s army from Celes, the closest country to Avalon. But now Avalon is being threatened with a war of their own and they aren’t ready. Avalon’s small army consisted only of men, those men had the one thing that made them different, they had Dragary wings. It was same throughout the world, but that rule was one day challenged by an unsuspecting person. Sai finally found out about her surprise when she got home. It was two front row tickets to “Labena Furetto”, the best known play in Avalon. It is about two lovers Carmano and Lanene torn apart by their feuding fathers. They find ways to meet each other but things changed forever when Lanene’s father comes back dead from a hunting trip. And Carmano had an illness that can only be cured in another country. Lanene commits suicide after her father’s death, and Carmano dies before he could get treatment. It’s a sad story, but everyone loves it because it resembles an earth play. “I can’t believe you got tickets to the most popular play in Avalon!” Sai was jumping up and down all around Maj. “It was really hard to get so we won’t be going again for a while.” Maj said straightening his bowtie. “I don’t think I have ever seen you in a formal outfit before Maj, just your army uniform.” Said Sai “You will probably see it more.” He said mysteriously. This puzzled Sai but she left the topic lie. Sai was dressed like a princess. She was lucky to be the girlfriend of a wealthy army man. She had a beautiful dress made of the finest silk and cotton in Sobe. And her hair was up in a stylish bun topped off with a tiara. Maj was wearing a tux with shiny shoes. Together they looked like they were married to each other. When they sat down to watch the play, Sai almost fell over trying to get by a huge man and his wife. “Sorry.” He said grumpily. Maj gave him a rude look but Sai gave him one that said “back off”, he did. The play had been going for about a half an hour when Man excused himself to the boy’s room. Instead, he headed to the lobby to check over the arrangements. Everything was going as planed. He headed back to his seat. Sai didn’t move this was her favorite play that she hadn’t seen since she was fourteen. He cleared his throat quietly and said, “Sai?” “What?” Sai said whispering. Maj looked at his watch. At precisely 20:00, she had to look to the left of the stage. Three seconds. “I... uh....3,..... well,.2.....1.... Sai look over there, isn't that the famous Kaide Mai?” He said pointing to the left. She looked and saw Kaide giving her a bouquet of roses and said “from your prince”. “Are you my prince?” Sai said blushing. He laughed “not me, Maj-Rai. Look!” Maj was on his knee. Sai knew what was coming and the whole audience and cast was watching. “Sai? I.... have loved you since the day I met you. Your beautiful face shone brightly every time I see you.” Sai was bright red. “I w..w..wish you would do me the honors of being my wife.” Maj said quickly. This slapped Sai in the back of the head. “Really?” Sai was welling up. “Yes” Said Maj. “Of Course I will!!!!!” She said crying loudly. The whole audience roared as the cast applauded loudly. Maj put Sai’s ring on. It was a 14-carat gold ring with 4 diamonds on it. One for each year they were together. Her dream finally came true. She hugged him tightly. “Thank you so much Maj, I never expected this!” she said crying. End of Part 2 Do you like it? There's still more to come! Part one Part 3 Go Home |
