Final Fantasy 4
- Fabool refers to Fabul, Yang's kindgom.
- The dwarves in Conde Petie say, "Rally-ho!" It's supposed to be "Lali-ho!," which the dwarves say.
- A store in Lindblum named after one of the twins-- I think it's Palom.
- Namingway, a card, was FF4's man in the gigantic sombrero.
- Airship, a card, displays FF4's airship.
- A man in Daguerro alludes to the Underground.
- The Fat Chocobo appeared in FF4. He stored items for you.
- Kain's Lance is a weapon in FF9. Kain is a Dragoon in FF4, of
course.
Final Fantasy 5
- Boko, a card, was Butz's chocobo.
Final Fantasy 6
- Mog, Eiko's moogle friend, has the same name as the playable moogle of FF6.
- Terra, an FF9 spoiler, shares the name of one of the main characters in FF6.
- Shock--Beatrix's skill in FF9-- was Leo's skill.
- There is a man named Locke in Lindblum, near the Hunter's
Gate.
- Kuja's technique, Flare Star, was a technique in FF6.
Final Fantasy 7
- In the ending, Zidane says, "No cloud, no squall shall hinder us."
- Cloud's buster sword is in the Lindblum weapon shop.
- The song the Tantalus musicians play in the Evil Forest was that played at Rufus' parade.
- Climhazzard, Beatrix's skill, was one of Cloud's level 2 limit breaks.
- In the village of Dali on Disc 4 there is a worker named
Trude who wants to go to Treno. Remove the T's from the two names and you have Reno and Rude of the Turks (Which also starts with a T)
Final Fantasy 8
- In the ending, Zidane says, "No cloud, no squall shall hinder us."
- The Save the Queen was a whip used by Quistis.
- Steiner's technique "Iai Strike" is used by a monster in
FF8 called the Forbidden. It is called "Iai Blow" and deals a smal amount of damage but also deals death.
- Amarant's "No Mercy" technique is Seifer's technique from FF8.
- Steiner's Darkside an ability the GFs of FF8 can teach you.
Final Fantasy Tactics
- One of the people in the Treno card tournament on disc 4 is Worker #9. A character in FFT is Worker #8.
- Reis's Wind is one of Freya's abilities. Reis was a character in FFT.
- The Save the Queen was a sword used by Meliadoul.
Final Fantasy in general
- Garnet's disguise while running away was the White Mage robe from the earlier FF's
- Cid was an engineer character in all of the other FF's.
- The 'Crystal' is a throw back to nearly any Final Fantasy game.
- They brought back Summoners with Horns!
- Red Mages can be found wandering around in almost every town.
- Necron, the Final Boss, appears out of no where, as do many of
Final Fantasy's Final Bosses. Among other Square Final Bosses who only pretend to play a part in the story are:
-Zeromus, FF4
-Ultimecia, FF8
-Yu Yevon, FF10
Even if mentioned before you actually encounter them, you never see these characters until you fight them.
