The Cherokee came origanally from South America fought thier way north (apparently chasing or following the Souix) until they met the Siwanog. They settled in the southern united states.
The Iroquois split off of the Cherokee to expand northward with europeans earlier than the 1300s eventualy obtain Siouan (not to be confused with Sewan) Sioux land along the Eire and into Ohio..

The Indian wars started. They settled some of thier differences and formed the Algonquian Nation. I'm of Siwanog or Shawanoe (People of the white water Swan).
