Doodles

I like to do my own doodles and piss-takes. I used to regularly contribute stuff to CowbearUK who runs Lines & Bears.I also like cartoons and comics and have a small collection of cartoon books.Examples of cartoonists I like are at the laughing man link towards the bottom of the page

I made this one as a variation on the design I did for Cowbear UK's Lines & Bears Club

I drew this a few years back as a T-Shirt design to wear at Pride

This was the sketch I used for one of my own tattoo designs. If you click on the cupidbear you'll see the tattoo

BearHug London asked me to design a new T-shirt for them a couple of years ago, and this was the result. Click on the bear by Big Ben to go to BearHug London.

Making a new one-off t-shirt for Pride started to become a habit

This was the logo I did for CowbearUK's Bearz(Bearz with a Z) site which he used to have.

Originally, this was gonna be part of a tattoo design, but the design went ahead without this bear. Click on the pic to see what the final tattoo design was.

I had this made into a t-shirt for linedancing, and later, when CowbearUK wanted a logo from me, I gave this to him because I hadn't found the time to finish the drawing I was going to give him. Click on the cowbear to go to the Lines & Bears site where you'll find some of the designs available as t-shirts.

And here is the doodle he had to wait for. Both this one,and the one above are part of the Lines & Bears Classic T-Shirt

Another Lines & Bears logo

The Lines & Bears logo that Nick also adopted for his business cards

The leather teddy above was a variation for myself of this Lines & Bears logo, which is also available from Lines & Bears as a T-Shirt

Before BearHug London asked me to design a T-shirt they had seen me wearing this parody of a previous BearHug T-shirt

Another Pride T-shirt. I thought the t-shirt Pride did was rather plain,so I put it on a bear and made a t-shirt of that image

Another Lines & Bears parody.

CowbearUK asked me to do him a drawing for a new t-shirt of a well-hung bear......this is what he got.

Another Lines & Bears logo.

Another Pride T-shirt. It was this year that the Pride Committee decided to rename Lesbian & Gay Pride as Lesbian,Gay,Bisexual and Transgender Pride and this drawing represented my interpretation of a LGBT Bear.

This was originally a design for a Lines & Bears Summer "Beach" Party, but since Nick only used it once, I reclaimed it for my site.

An advertisement for Lines & Bears, meant to represent bears on their way up the escalator at Vauxhall Underground station, which is the nearest tube to Duke's, the bar where Lines & Bears meet.

Another design for CowbearUK for a t-shirt/poster saying "Life is a Ca-bear-et". Ever since Nick's group "Bearz with a Z" he hasn't been able to escape the Liza Minelli theme :)

The latest Lines & Bears logo, as of October 1999.

Prior to Lines & Bears becoming pretty much the only gay linedancing venue,I made this t-shirt for dancing at other clubs. It was labelled "Prairie Faeries", which I hadn't even realised might be considered a piss-take when I went dancing in Manchester with it at a "Prairie Dogs" function (the Manchester Lesbian & Gay Linedancing club)

My first bear logo which I did for my business cards with the title of Hug Therapist. Many people seriously considered this "alternative therapy" to be my occupation, except for one perverted friend who insisted on interpreting it as saying "Hug the rapist".
