BSL

Okay, Spock was a gratuitous Star Trek link.......I was told it was obligatory. The link is that the BSL sign for Star Trek is to mime giving yourself a pointy ear ,same as Spock’s. BSL stands for British Sign Language. I sat my BSL 2 exam on 2nd July '98 and unfortunately I flunked it. I resat my exam in October.

Well, huge piggin' grin time, Ipassed.
I had to wander around for the next few days with a stupid smile on my face.
Since then college has been on hold for a while 'cos Level 3(the last one before interpreter) was cancelled by my local college in 1998 'cos of a lack of tutors, and if I had to travel it'd be even harder to work and study.
My new job is further from the College and with different hours that make it more awkward to attend. In the meantime, I seem to be forgetting way too much of what I've learnt.Add to that the fact that the powers that be have decided on a national level to completely change the format of the course and the exam, and that my local college still hasn't instituted the new course....
