Gringer Ck to White Horse Hills Camp Site

It was a nice feeling to be alive and well and also to not have to double hut today like we did for the first few days of the walk. The huts were beginning to get further apart now. By 9:445 pm, Rone and I were both on the summit of Boonerring Hill. Frankly I wasn't expecting much but it turned out to have a fantastic granite dome for a summit with 360 degree views and it was a crystal clear day. Two Wedge Tail Eagles had a little tussle with each other in flight overhead as we pondered this glorious creation.

At noon we arrived at the White Horse Hills Campsite which was very neat and well looked after and we had this one to ourselves. I had the chance to do some bird watching where I identified red tailed black cockatoos, white tailed black cockatoos, red capped robins, scarlet robins and splendid fairy wrens.
