Aswad, Lord of Karak.

Aswad is the Lord of Karak. He once was the disciple of Azrak and he learned well from his master but he misguided his knowledge to the dark side of the magic and surrendered to the temptation of the dark powers of evil.

He learned about the ancient legend of the City of Karak and its power. The man who would rule on Karak would be invincible and would conquer the world. But the throne of Karak had to be earned with hard work and many tests. Aswad succeed in each and every one of them, proving that he had learned well. He never stopped admiring and respecting Azrak, his tutor and mentor and he tried to convince him to join him in Karak. When Azrak refused, Aswad knew his old master wouldn't rest until he'd finished him.

Despite of the dark powers of Aswad, Azrak was still more wise and powerful and his old master cast a powerful spell on Karak, a spell to vanish the city forever from Earth. Aswad tried to break the spell but he couldn't. The best he could do was provoke a failure in the spell: Karak would reappear on Earth when the stars were in certain alignment and then he'd have the oportunity of giving new life to Karak if he could get Azrak's blood. Since the spell was a blood spell, as long as Azrak's blood was in Karak, the city would exist.

Now, after 1000 years the City of Karak has reappeared in the golden sands of the deserts one more time and the powerful and resourceful Lord of Karak won't stop until he has carried out his evil plans. He is here to surrender the Seven Deserts to the dark powers of Karak, but before he can do that he needs Azrak's blood to give life to the city. The blood he'll find in Azrak's last descendant: a blue eyed girl of Agrabah.
