Retinoblastoma: Justin's Story

Hi!  My name is Michelle.  This site is designed to share the story of my son Justin's battle with retinoblastoma, a rare from of eye cancer, and to provide some helpful information that I have on the disease. I decided to become a registered nurse, due to the experience that I went through with Justin, and started my nursing career in January 2003.   I am currently employed as an oncology nurse at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It is my hope that Justin's story will help others in the same manner that the doctors and nurses helped me through the most difficult time of my life. It has been several years now since he passed away and it is my hope that Justin's story can help someone else.
