1. Hi Cyjan! Could you tell us the story of why DEAD INFECTION split and how SPINELESS came to be?
Cyjan: About DEAD INFECTION splitting up, it was my decision. I turned to be very tired playing with these guys. Still some silly quarrels and misunderstanding. Last concert travels were intolerable.
2. Musically what should we expect on your upcoming MCD "Ode to Gore"? Do you have any plans for the cover?
Cyjan: At the moment "Ode to Gore" is not released yet as official MCD. But now I'm workin' on new songs for full length album. It will be called "Brain corrosion". About music, it's still gory death grind. I'm sure that all DEAD INFECTION fans won't be disappointed.
3. So SPINELESS originated as just you, but now has a second member from INCARNATED. Do you feel that having less members makes creating more or less difficult? Why? Will this leave SPINELESS a record only band?
Cyjan: I have a lot of serious plans about SPINELESS. I want to record more albums and play shows. At the moment, I think being two-members band is absolutely enough to create a good music. I don't think so it will be difficult. It's no problem with present musical equipments. And what is important, I'm more independent. (That's the best part of one man bands like mine! -Lee)
4. Have you heard COFFEE GRINDERS yet? Do you have any opinion on their music?
Cyjan: I'm not interested in this band.
5. What bands out now have been your choice?
Cyjan: I have only a few bands that are worth paying attention at present: REGURGITATE, LOCK UP, INHUME, SQUASH BOWELS, NEUROPATHIA and maybe something else.
6. My friend thought the band picture from "A Chapter of Accidents" was taken at the zoo. Was he right?
Cyan: Yes that's right. I think it's quite nice, isn't? (Is! It's perfect for the theme of one of the songs on that album! It inspired me to go to the zoo for pictures! The zoo rules! -Lee) It's funny story about this because this day we wanted to do our picture session in a morgue, but unfortunately doctor who supervised one didn't let us in. So we went to the zoo.
7. Your label, Timmy!!! Records, I take it was inspired by Southpark? Which episode is your favorite and what do you like about the cartoon? Did you see the one where Cartman made Scott eat his parents?
Cyjan: Timmy!!! Records is not my label but from friend of mine who put his money in releasing singles album. About label name, you're right. It was inspired by South Park. I love this cartoon!!! Of course I know the part you mentioned. I have recorded over 50 parts!
8. Other than music, what are your interests? How about movies, books etc.?
Cyjan: Yes I like music and books, also other styles of music. My favourite style are movie soundtracks. The music from movies like "The Omen", "Dracula", "Devil's advocate", "Hellbound: Hellraiser II", "Alien" are masterpieces to me. My favourite directors are Peter Jackson, Lucio Fulci, George Romero, Sam Raimi. (Excellent choice! What about Dario Argento and Jorg Buttgereit? -Lee)
9. Will SPINELESS remain on your label or will you be open to bigger labels to sign the MCD to them later?
Cyjan: I want to release new stuff of SPINELESS for other label. I'm just negotiating with big one but at the moment I can tell you nothing more. Be patient. (I will! -Lee)
10. Name your top 5 favorite releases.
Cyjan: Do you mean brutal stuff? OK. Here are my top 5 the best ever brutal releases:
TERRORIZER - "World downfall"
CARCASS - "Reek of putrefaction"
NAPALM DEATH - "From enslavement to obliteration"

SLAYER - "Reign in blood"
11. Describe the perfect woman.
Cyjan: My wife Anna.
12. If there was a SPINELESS video, what would you like to have in it?
Cyjan: I'm not sure if it would be suitable to play on TV. It would be the goriest clip ever! It's hard to explain. Some part of it is from my own mind, the other part is from my dream.
