| RAPED / NUCLEAR DEATH (R.I.P.) 1/2003 1. Hi Vo! How are you doing? Could you give us soome insight to RAPED, what it's all about, what musical direction you're taking with it and overall what we should expect our senses to experience when listening? Vo: I am doing damn fine!!! RAPED is my ongoing fight to rid the world of violence against women and children!!!! (Reminds me of an A.C. song. -Lee) Originally, I fels an isolated hatred towards the system and sleazy-fucking bastard men in general! (I'm glad I'm not a sleazy bastard, I'm just a lovable pusvomit! -Lee) I was raped this year on Januaria 4th across the street from an after-hours joint in downtown Phoenix...There were pigs there right across the fucking street and they did not see a fucking thing!!! When I got free and fell out of the cocksucker's car..I ran across the street and told the fuckers what had happened...they did not take me to a hospital and I was grilled for the fact I had been topless inside the club and my choice of attire that evening!!!! I did not tell the girls I was with that night because I was catatonic..In shock and repulsed!!!! I decided the only way to even baby-step begin to deal was by creating something positive out of my own fear and revulsion...I formed RAPED a week later with a female drummer and that was it!!!! RAPED is now relocated to LA and I am training several musicians in combative core to help me unleash my voice to the world!!! RAPED is what I termed 'cuntcore'...a chaotic assault of deadly beauty and maniacal force!!!! IN fact the song I wrote about the rape is titled just that...'Deadly Beuaty'!!!! I am working with my boy-twin and confindante..Adam X and I play for his project too which has to do with revolutionary-tactics, anti-capitalist and government control and shear anger towards our so-called 'system'!!!! I am training 2 other girls on bass and drums and I have a sleak guitarist called, Waateru!!!! 2. What releases do you have, and what will be coming out? They are $3.00 each!!! My DVD will be out early summer if I can get it all together in time....Extremist and I are in the process of retaping and I am sending him the master in Jan. They are our only 2 official ND vids that were done. Written by us and directed by my brother, Marc who also helped write it and produce it. They are: Unalive in Texas and Profligacy. All are live cuts with added 'special' footage!!! 3. What are your feelings on the direction the metal scene has taken today? I mean, do you go to shows and just see Marilyn Manson wannabes and straight edge retards doing karate kicks in the pit and just want to puke? What about the legions of metal bands all doing the same whining about being dumped and then screaming about it to generic hardcore slam riffs? Vo: The music industry is in emergency code-red right now....Everybody that seems to be out is sucking and more about clothes and hair than music and words!!! Gwen Stephani is at the very top of out hit-list as well as many other 'rock chix'....I want to be the next whore-slut-bitch to get in there and make the press cry and feed.... (It's good to have goals! -Lee) I am 100% real and true and I know how to write my own goddamned songs...I don't need some boys to write my hits!!! I plan to take the industry by storm and also become the next Sharon Osbourne!!!! I will run my own shit and nobody...but nobody is going to fuck with me!!! Reading about Courtney and Patti really taught me about how to approach conquer and rule this little gem alled 'The Industry' and I am going to rule it with a great set of pipes, killer band and an iron pussy!!!! 4. Well, on the brighter side of things what about the true death scene today? How do you feel about it and what bands have impressed you recently? Are you happy with how MORTICIAN has held out? Vo: I think that ABSCESS are the pinnacle of truth and underground death... (Yes! "Tormented" is the bomb! What about RAVENOUS? -Lee) MORTICIAN is also a fine bunch o' lads...I am glad that some of us still have our balls in our music and not in the corporate-shit-eating-bastard's filthy little purses!!!! 5. What kind of authors/books are your personal recommendations these days? Vo: I am reading alot of biographies as usual and my rec's are: Eddie:A Biography, Courtney Love, the True Story-Poppy Z. Brite, Queen of Noise, Power To the people! The Story of the Black Panthers, (Aren't they an endangered species? -Lee) Abbie Hoffman's Autobiography, Smack, Kurt and Courtney in their own words, Art and Socialism, etc!!!! Too many to mention..I am a book whore and read several at one time!!!! 6. What about your favorite movies? Vo:Some good ones I have viewed are...Mother Night, Charlie Chaplin's The Dictator, Pinero, Meantime, Poncho Villa: Biography, The Speeches of Adolf Hitler, Che Guavara:Bolivian Diary...etc!!!! 7. The art and lyrical concepts of NUCLEAR DEATH were probably the most abstractly morbid work a band has showcased thus far in death metal/grind. Many would assume these are visions from hallucinogenic trips, but maybe you could give us a better idea? Nightmares? Personal fantasies/fiction? Vo: They are all built upon my own nightmares and visions....Some are truths mixed with a bit of artistic fabrication...Now with RAPED...It is all real 100% fucking my heart and blood to your ears and gut!!! 8. Speaking of musical art and theme, what should we expect from the likes of RAPED? Would you call this a violent band, or something to make one feel all cuddly inside? Vo: I would say that RAPED speak of violence because that is what this country is weened on day in and day out!!! I fully address all issues as they came through me and inside me and killed me a little each day...I hope people will pay the fuck attention...Because I feel I have alot more of my heart and death in this band and in me as a woman!!! 9. If some guy wearing a Metallica shirt showed up at your place and asked you to buy him beer and to party with him what would you do? Vo: I would say..Goddamnit, Craig let's get fucked up you fucking moron!!!!
